Date: Thursday, January 27th, 2011.
(The class usually meets the last Thursday of every month)

Time: 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Where: Mulberry Lane Farm, 414 Mulberry St., Loda, IL.

Helen's peonies.

Who is the Woman to Woman Support Group for?

~ Homeschooling moms who want support and encouragement
~ Stay-at-home moms
~ Those who desire to be stay-at-home moms
~ Teenage girls wanting to learn about mothering
~ New Moms
~ Pregnant Moms
~ Single Moms
~ Moms of all kinds who want support and encouragement
~ Moms with questions about homeschooling, mothering, a woman's role, etc.

What is the cost?

There is no charge. This is a ministry of The Mother's Companion and hosted by Helen E. Aardsma.

Can we bring our children?

Yes. You are encouraged to bring your children with you, especially if you are nursing. Each mom is responsible for her own children. There will be no babysitters to watch them. The children can play on the floor right where the class is taking place. We don't worry about their noises, either happy or sad! Older homeschooling children play on the farm and are supervised.

What should I bring?

Bring your own sack lunch. Drinks will be provided. Also bring a snack to share. We'll eat lunch together around noon.

Who is hosting this?

Helen E. Aardsma, mother to ten (ages 33 - 11) and grandmother to twelve will lead the group in discussion, questions and answer time, a brief lesson and sharing. Helen has been a mentor to thousands of women over the years through www.themotherscompanion.org as well as holding classes for women. Helen has much wisdom to share in the areas of homeschooling, child training, breastfeeding, big families, how to live on one (small!) income, bread making, working at home as well as many other areas of interest to mothers. Helen will be sharing from a Christian perspective, as well as from an attachment parenting style perspective.

Here is feedback from members of the class:

Dear Helen,

Thanks so much for the words of wisdom. Thank you for the time and commitment you have for young mother's. If only the whole world could understand the concept of Titus 2 mentoring the world would not be in the chaos it is in.

You are a true blessing.

In Christ's Love,

S. H.

Dear Helen,

Thank you for your listening ear, understanding heart, and willingness to share your wisdom and knowledge with us. I have always wanted to go and spend time visiting with Elisabeth Elliot and I feel that God is meeting my heart's cry through you. You are a wonderful mentor and I truly do feel blessed to know you and to have the priviledge to learn from you. Thank you for meeting this desire/need for all of us girls.

With much appreciation and love,

Love,

J. E.
